SOUND of Hope Gala Brings Community Together in Support of Mental Health Access

Just a few short weeks ago, SOUND Behavioral Health welcomed more than 400 community members, partners, and supporters to Fremont Studios for the annual SOUND of Hope Gala — an evening dedicated to expanding access to mental health and substance use services across King County.

The night reflected the heart of SOUND’s mission: connection, compassion, and opening doors to care. Guests experienced firsthand the impact of SOUND’s work through immersive program stations, storytelling, and opportunities to engage with community-based crisis services. Together, attendees helped surpass this year’s fundraising goal, ensuring more individuals and families can access the support they need.

We’re deeply grateful to everyone who helped make the evening meaningful — from our sponsors and volunteers to the staff and community members who continue to believe in a more hopeful, accessible future for behavioral health care.

Beyond the excitement of the tournament itself, the event has highlighted how collective effort can generate lasting economic opportunity, community pride, and positive outcomes that benefit us all.

Meeting Students Where They Are: Celebrating 20 Years of SOUND’s Middle School Support Program

For more than 20 years, SOUND's Middle School Support Program (MSSP) has helped connect middle school students with behavioral health support where they need it most.
