Celebrating Whole-Person Care in Auburn – ICHS & SOUND Auburn Ribbon Cutting

Share:

Earlier this month, we had the honor of cutting the ribbon and officially opening the doors to a new chapter of care in Auburn. In partnership with International Community Health Services (ICHS), SOUND's Auburn clinic is now home to integrated behavioral health, primary care, and mobile dental services, all under one roof. This collaboration is more than just a co-habitation; it’s a powerful step toward whole-person care that lowers barriers, makes services easier to access, and provides a more supportive experience for individuals and families in our community.

The energy at the ribbon cutting was a true reflection of what this partnership means: hope, connection, and more pathways to recovery. With ICHS providing primary care and mobile dental services, and SOUND delivering recovery-focused behavioral health care, our clients can now access a continuum of support in one place.

The ribbon cutting also reflected the warmth of long-standing relationships: both between SOUND CEO Katrina Egner and ICHS CEO Kelli Nomura, and between Katrina Egner and Mayor Nancy Backus – each relationship showing how trust and collaboration have the power to strengthen community.

Lastly, we extend our deepest thanks to Mayor Backus for joining us at the celebration and for her ongoing commitment to Auburn’s well-being. And to our partners at ICHS: thank you for standing alongside us as we work toward our shared mission.
