Team Member Spotlight: Nev Trakic

Tell us about yourself!

I was born in a country that has changed names four times since, before settling on Serbia. My passion is soccer. It is an understatement to say that I am a fan of Manchester United. If I was not in this profession, I would probably be a volunteer or a steward at Old Trafford in Manchester, England. I play soccer a couple of times a week as well. Seattle has an amazing and thriving soccer community.

What advice do you have for new team members?

Being new to Sound myself, my best advice is to ask as many questions as you need. Sound is a large organization, but everyone is very friendly and wants to help. And, if someone doesn’t know the answer, they will point you to the next best lead. 

Do you have any hobbies that you’d like to tell us about?

In addition to soccer, I like to travel and explore new places.

Instead of naming one person, I would like to express my gratitude to everyone working hard on the transition of two organizations. I am amazed by the magnitude of the task we took upon ourselves and, despite some bumps we hit along the way, clients were seen and day-to-day work was uninterrupted. That is truly amazing.

What is your favorite thing about working at Sound? 

There are many opportunities available to the people that we serve, and at the end of the day, they can leave with the feeling that people truly care.
