Interactive Virtual Workshop Focused on AAPI Culture

Video Available beginning Feb. 21

The focus was on Asian American Pacific Islander (AAPI) culture, history, and the disquieting increase in hostility, violence, and hate directed at AAPI individuals in America. Placing these issues front and center was consultant and trainer Jolene Jang who presents webinars on the topic to businesses, nonprofits, and online audiences.

This 90-minute interactive program allowed Jolene to discuss the harmful effects of racial stereotyping, in addition to exploring history and its relevance to present-day perceptions of AAPI. The link to the complete session is available below. The event was sponsored by AAPI TRC (Team Resource Circle) and Sound’s DEJI Program (Diversity, Equity, Justice & Inclusion).
