Older Adult Services (OAS)

Our goal is to support older adults and their families. Our professional team can help navigate complex events related to aging, and/or in addressing emotional or psychological difficulties.

Program Services

Our services include:

Counseling for individuals, couples, and families Geriatric mental health specialists provide evidence-based practices. Services are offered in the office, and in community settings such as home, adult family home or assisted living facility.

Comprehensive psychiatric evaluation and assessment

Medication management Properly prescribe and manage psychiatric medications in the overall context of the older person’s health and medication regime.

Consultation We consult with family members and other support systems for accurate assessment, planning and problem-solving.

Case management Assess the goals and needs of the older adult and facilitate linkage and referral to community resources.

Group treatment services Provide structured support and group therapy that is tailored to the needs of the older adults within a therapeutic environment.

Whole health care Address both the psychological and the physical health needs.

Community-wide education and training We offer education and training throughout the community.

Getting Started

Sound is a licensed, certified, and preferred provider for many health plans, and accepts Medicaid and Medicare.

Our professional team will assist in determining fees and coverage.
