Paul Eisenhauer is Executive Vice President & Chief Financial Officer at Sound. He manages Sound’s finances, oversees its strategic financial planning and manages Sound’s financial risks. Eisenhauer began his career at Sound as a Mental Health Clinician and then manager of the Adult Community Services program. Eisenhauer served as the clinical director of all Adult & Older Services in the organization before making the transition to finance.
While he found direct care work fulfilling, he believed that he could offer more to clients and ensure the organization’s ongoing sustainability by serving at the executive level. Earning his MBA in Business, Executive Management from the University of Washington, he became Sound’s chief financial officer in 1995.
The unique combination of Eisenhauer’s clinical background and business acumen gives him a distinctive perspective within the behavioral health field. His skills, experience, and background stabilized Sound financially in the mid-1990s, and later facilitated tremendous and sustained growth for the organization. As a result, Sound is financially stable and well positioned for substantial growth in the future. Prior to his tenure at Sound, Eisenhauer served on the clinical staff at Northwest Evaluation.
Eisenhauer has an MA in Psychology from Antioch University, and an MBA in Business, Executive Management from the University of Washington.
