As Chief Technology Officer, Josh Nelson leads the development and implementation of Sound’s technology strategies, policies and investments.
In his leadership position, Nelson collaborates with various departments to identify areas where technology will ensure that the organization can meet its compliance, service and business objectives.
At Sound, Nelson’s key focus has been on enhancing the organization’s technology infrastructure, its use of data management and analytics platforms, investments in telehealth, and enhancements to its electronic health record system.
Prior to his role at Sound, Nelson was Director of Information Technology at Carney Badley Spellman, where he served as the change agent to drive the firm’s technology forward. Before that, Nelson worked at Swedish, as senior technology integrations manager. Nelson worked collaboratively to innovate the clinical technology components for the Neuroscience, Heart and vascular and Sleep institutes.
Nelson has nearly 20 years of diversified experience innovating with technology, managing technical departments, projects, and supporting technical systems in the legal and health care fields.
