Angie Golds has been a member since 2017 and served as Board Vice Chair from 2018 to 2020. She also serves on the organization’s Operations/Board Education Committee and Finance Committee. Golds brings more than a decade of leadership experience in the aerospace and telecommunications industries to her role at Sound. She currently leads a team of 15 at Boeing’s Information Technology department, where she is responsible for overseeing data management, analytics warehousing and technology infrastructure.
Before her work with Boeing, Golds led teams at AT&T Wireless and served her community in law enforcement and in the Army Reserve.
Golds believes that to support the community, she has to be involved in the community. The Sound board provides Golds the opportunity to participate and give back to the community. “I feel a sense of pride when I see positive results for Sound and Sound’s impact on the community due to solid decision making from the board,” says Golds.
Golds holds a B.A. in Communications from Texas Lutheran University and a master’s degree in Engineering and Technology from Washington State University. She also has a master’s certificate in Project Management from Washington State University. She is currently pursuing a Masters Executive Leadership certificate at Seattle University.
