September is National Recovery Month

Sound Mental Health believes that behavioral health is essential to health and overall wellness. We believe that prevention works, treatment is effective, and that people with behavioral health issues can and do recover. We believe that recovery in all its forms is possible and also encourages citizens and communities to take action to help expand, improve and support the availability of effective recovery services.

Please join us as we celebrate National Recovery Month. Now in its 28th year, National Recovery Month is a national observance held every September by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration. National Recovery Month is an opportunity to raise awareness and honor our staff and clients as we empower them toward recovery.

More information about Recovery Month is on the website, www.recoverymonth.gov.
