Founded in 1966, Sound is a vital and unique community resource unlike any other in the region. Our more than 40 programs champion mental health, enrich the community, and sustain many who come to us when there are precious few options. Our innovative services support people of all races and cultures, across all socio-economic classes.

We support children in need of specialized services. We guide those gripped by chemical dependencies through their recovery. Our services provide support to our deserving military veterans, assist members of our elderly population and even improve the lives of the developmentally disabled.  In a word, Sound provides programs designed to the unique needs of our community.
