Introduce yourself! 📣
Hi everyone! I’m Vinnu Komanapalli and I’m a clinician for the AS Metro team – working in Wallingford!
Do you have a favorite book, tv show or movie? What makes it your favorite?
I love the Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt! .👸
Do you have any advice for new team members?
Offer yourself the same patience and kindness you offer your clients. ❤️
Do you have any hobbies that you’d like to tell us about?
I’ve recently become very interested in gardening – it is very satisfying to see clippings take root and become new plants 🙂 🌼
Name someone here at Sound who has had a big impact on you
Alice Nichols was a very helpful (albeit temporary) supervisor during the merger! I was an intake specialist at the time, and greatly appreciated her constructive feedback and advice for my long-term growth in this field. There are days when I still feel new to my job, so it is helpful to hear from others like Alice, and my supervisors now (Lindsey Goodman and Christine Atienza) who have a much more long-term approach to different situations. ❤️
What is your favorite thing about working at Sound?
I’ve really appreciated that Sound has some dedicated teams for different populations and different areas of our work as a whole. It is really helpful to have in-house ‘experts,’ because case management and therapy in the community mental health field can involve a lot of different skills. I’ve asked people in the Sound-Works and the Forensics team for help with some of my clients’ questions. I’ve also greatly appreciated having a team dedicated to its members’ professional growth. 🤗
Thank you for choosing Sound, Vinnu! We’re so happy to have you on our team!
Would you like to join the team? Sound is hiring!
