On Sept. 23, Sound President & CEO Patrick Evans will present a new team member award to six deserving team members at the organization’s annual team member appreciation event: SOUNDCON. The first annual award, dubbed the “Heroes & Champions Award,” honors and recognizes team members whose work and contributions exemplify excellence, compassion and professionalism.
Nominations for the inaugural award were closed in early June. A 10-person committee selected winners and they will be announced during closing ceremonies at SOUNDCON.
The Heroes & Champions Award, an elegant engraved glass plaque, will be presented to each of the six winners in the following categories:
- Administrative Team Member
- Adult Services Clinical Team Member
- Child & Family Clinical Team Member
- Facilities Team Member
- Manager/Supervisor
- Medical Provider Team Member
“There are countless team members in our organization who do very important work and bring compassion in serving our community,” says Evans. “While they all embody excellence in their daily work, this award pays tribute to a handful of individuals who represent the ideals to which we all strive. I’m pleased to present those individuals with this award.”
In addition to the engraved glass awards, winners will enjoy public recognition at the event, and by way of their own personal profile story that will be shared across Sound’s many internal and external platforms.
SOUNDCON is Sound’s annual team member professional development and appreciation event, which will be held at the Bell Harbor International Conference Center on Friday, Sept. 23, 2022. The event provides a unique opportunity for all Sound team members to come together in the spirit of connectivity and fellowship, while enjoying multiple educational and team-building workshops and activities.
