Introduce yourself!

Hello, everyone!  I am Bo Lee,  a Clinical Case Manager for ECS, providing behavioral support to clients in their homes, and education and support to their caregivers and other staff.  ❤️

Tell us something about yourself. 

I wrote a children’s book this year, “Walter Makes a Way”. It’s a book about my grandfather’s experience being a young Black child having to survive and thrive in a very racist, terrifying world. It’s a triumphant story about perseverance and succeeding in the face of adversity. My grandfather’s generation started the conversation that we are still having about the Black Experience. I’m very proud of my grandfather’s life and I’m honored to tell his story.  Read more about the book on our FaceBook page.

My greatest honor is being Walter Lee’s granddaughter, who showed me how to forge my own path.  ❤️

Do you have a favorite book, tv show or movie? What makes it your favorite?

I love watching The Fab 5. The team helps individuals find their best self and it always leaves me uplifted and wondering how I can treat myself better. ❤️

Have you heard any good jokes lately?

A toddler was found chewing on a slug. After the initial surge of disgust passed the parent asked, “What does it taste like?” The child replied, “Worms.” 🤣

Do you have any advice for new team members?

Take care of yourself first. 🧑‍🤝‍🧑

Do you have any other hobbies that you’d like to talk about?

I grow orchids, enjoy gardening, and LOVE cooking! 🍏 This year I am compiling my favorite recipes into a family cookbook.

Stephanie Berg: I started here as an intern and felt unsure of myself. Stephanie took me seriously as a clinician and pointed out successes I didn’t always give myself credit for. Now Sound can’t get rid of me! 😇
