Sound’s Diversity & Inclusion Team Urges Minority Voters to Be Heard

Sound Diversity & Inclusion Coordinator Kevin Henry talks with Chuck Olmstead, host of 820 am radio’s “Heart of the City” about how to educate people on voting, how it works, and their responsibility and opportunity to be a part of the voting process.

“Many younger people and minority voters may feel like their vote doesn’t matter,” said Henry. “Don’t give up your power!  Shape the type of future you want. For minority voters, and for non-minority voters, people just feel better if they’re being active. The election is just the first thing on the menu. Let’s see how we can improve things!”
