During the month of June, the world celebrates LGBT Pride Month. Across the globe, various public events are held to honor LGBT people and their influence and impact on our communities and society. At Sound, we encourage you to participate in activities and learn more about the LGBT community.
Recognizing Pride Month also provides an opportunity to peacefully protest and raise political awareness about current issues affecting society. The LGBT community, for example, has been very active in the Black Lives Matter protests across the country. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, public events and parades have been canceled.
