Introduce yourself! 📣
Hi all! My name is Rachael Khamala. I am a Mental Health Technician at Stillwater House in Redmond.
Tell us something about yourself that we’d be surprised to learn.
I am originally from East Africa Kenya where a popular phrase – “Hakuna Matata.” (Meaning: “No problem.” ) originated, and was used in a movie- “The Lion King”. I have lived here in Seattle Washington for 15 years. I come from a big family of fourteen sisters and seven brothers because my father was a polygamist with three wives.

Name someone here at Sound who has had a big impact on you
I am inspired by my supervisor Christina Johnson, who has played a big part in my day to day performance. She has always appreciated the work of her team members and has created a good teamwork environment. Christina always represents Sound in a highly professional manner when dealing with any facility inspections. She advocates for her team and residents here at Stillwater. I look forward to coming to work each day because of the way she treats us. 😊
