Sound Donors Provide Hope Through Safety Net Funding

As the Coronavirus crisis continues in our region, and the stay at home order by Governor Inslee remains in place, Sound keeps its commitment to supporting our clients.  Though Sound’s focus is always on client’s safety, stability and a sense of hope, clients often need more: the basics to get them through the day. Our Sound Safety Net Fund, completely funded by Sound donors and designed to help clients during times of need, recently distributed $35,000 to seven Sound programs.

These funds helped our team members purchase groceries, blankets, coats, shoes, tents, soap, shampoo, undergarments, games and coloring books for children and so much more for our clients. It is the generosity of our donors that continues to make Sound Safety Net Fund possible.

“The Sound Safety Net Fund has helped our team members support our clients in times of crisis, by providing much needed basic supplies, things we often take for granted,” says Richelle Nordeen, a Program Director at Sound. “The items we are able to purchase have a profound positive impact in the lives of the people we serve.”
