SEATTLE – Aug. 15, 2013 – Sound Mental Health (SMH), one of the most comprehensive behavioral health agencies in the state of Washington, announced the addition of Juan J. Cotto and Diane C. Gordon, BSN, MA, MPH to its volunteer board of directors.
Manager of community outreach at Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center, Mr. Cotto brings years of leadership, community building and program development experience to his role on the nonprofit’s board. He will serve on SMH’s Community Resource committee, which is tasked with enhancing community relations for the organization.
Ms. Gordon, who previously worked for Virginia Mason Foundation and Providence General Foundation, brings a strong background in nonprofit grant writing and health care management to the board.
